On Friday Night 6/27/2025 at 9:55 pm , the Todd County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of County Rd 22 and 205th Ave for an I phone crash detection alert coming from Lyle Meyers cell phone. At 10:05 pm Todd County Deputies arrived on scene just north of County Rd 22 on 205th Ave and observed a male party later identified as Lyle Meyers lying face down in a field. Law Enforcement immediately started life saving measures and were assisted by the Clarissa Fire and rescue and Bertha Ambulance. Meyer was later pronounced deceased on scene. Meyer sustained fatal injuries from the ATV crash. The fatal accident is still being investigated by the Todd County Sheriff’s Office.
