Stabbing In Alexandria

An Alexandria man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that occurred Saturday evening. Alexandria Police responded to a stabbing at an apartment on Aga Dr. Officers found a 36-year-old man with stab wounds to his stomach. Authorities said the incident stemmed from an argument between the two men. The victim was life-flighted for treatment. Police identified the suspect as Gebretinsaye Meles, 55, of Alexandria. Meles was known to the victim and has been taken into custody.
