Woman Sentenced Foe Child Endangerment
A woman who was convicted of child endangerment was sentenced in Otter Tail County. Anastasia Vaughn was sentenced to 45 days, but will serve that time through 492 hours of community service work. She’ll also be placed on supervised probation for two years and was fined $500. Vaughn was arrested on October 29, 2024 after someone called police saying they had found the infant laying in the ditch and saw Vaughn running away from the scene. Police say she had an alcohol concentration of .229. She was found guilty of child endangerment, a gross misdemeanor in Minnesota with a maximum sentence of 364 days in jail and/or a $3,000 fine.
